School Accountability Committee
The RCS School Accountability Committee (“SAC”) is an all-volunteer committee responsible to monitor and ensure the academic progress, school safety, and appropriate resource allocation of our school. We complete our function by administering school surveys, processing grievances, regularly reporting to the RCS Board of Directors, and making recommendations including the annual accountability reports to Poudre R-1.
Committee members for the 2012-2013 school year include Robin Anderson (Faculty member), Domenic Carpine (Administration & BOD Representative), Michael Edwards (Faculty member), Jackie Hernandez (Parent and RCS staff member), Kim Miller (Community member), Teresa Schuemann (Chairperson, Parent member), Tim Smith (Faculty and Parent member), and Kristin Tallis (Parent member).
The SAC is interested in hearing from you. Comments, questions, suggestions, or general concerns about RCS can be deposited in the Suggestion Box affixed to the wall outside the Performing Arts Center for consideration at the SAC’s next meeting. Specific parent grievances may be submitted to the SAC in accordance with Policy SE-8.5 of the RCS Handbook. Submissions to the SAC must be in writing and received by a committee member at least three (3) days in advance of a scheduled meeting.
Meetings begin at 3:30 pm (following upper school faculty meeting) and are held in Room 241. Any changes in meeting dates or times will be posted in the Nuntius and on the front door of the building.
