Elementary School
Ridgeview's Elementary School encompasses Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Our classical curriculum includes ample time for play and hands-on discovery.
Music, fine arts, and physical education are an integral part of the daily life of an elementary student.
We also have a variety of extra-curricular activities for younger children, including a special choir, Grace Notes.
Outdoor Learning

Ridgeview emphasizes a phonics-based approach to teach our younger students how to read.
6th Grade Camp
Our combined Sixth Grade embarks on a trip into the mountains each year to bond as a class in the outdoors.
Character Education
Our students begin learning about the Character Pillars in Kindergarten. Discussions about citizenship, cooperation, responsibility, integrity, respect, perseverance, and courage figure into a variety of lessons throughout the year. Learn More >>

Penmanship
Our students learn American Cursive, as outlined by master penman Michael Sull.
Language Instruction
Our unique, spoken Latin program begins in Kindergarten. In the third grade, our students also begin to learn Greek.
Ability-Grouped Math
Beginning in the elementary grades, our students are ability grouped in mathematics to allow them to work at the highest level at which they can succeed.
